On Thursday, November 3, at its monthly board meeting, CASA of Menominee County proudly accepted a grant in the amount of $1260 from Plum Creek, a company whose expertise lies in forest management.
Nathan Christie, a resource forester with Plum Creek, was in attendance to present the grant, which will be used by CASA of Menominee County to cover basic operational costs.
A profound thank you to Plum Creek from all who are involved with CASA of Menominee County as $1260 certainly goes a long way to ensure that such a vital community organization can continue its day to day functions.
